Sharon has devoted her career to community involvement, professionalism and customer service.

Sharon Peters is a native of Philadelphia. She graduated from an elite Cosmetology School in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. She was introduced to the salon industry at the tender age of 13, and that experience sparked a passion in her soul that never left.

It became imperative that being a hair stylist was her calling. Since then, Sharon has delighted in creating gorgeous healthy hair and making people feel beautiful in and out. Throughout her career, Sharon has performed in several hair competitions and has travelled the country performing Onstage Platform Artistry.

She relocated to St Petersburg, Florida, in 2001 where she maintained her commitment to hard work, dedication and self-discipline. Soon after, Philly Finest Hair Salon Inc. was established in 2002. Taking the experiences and life lessons she learned along the way, Sharon founded “Battle of the Beauty” hair competition shows. She thrives off of entrepreneurship and perseverance in the salon industry. “The knowledge, elevation, hustle, trials and tribulations of what your destiny can be” is what she loves to speak to and help assist hungry minds in this industry. Whether it’s tips for improving your craft or inspiration relating to the “process” of not giving up, Sharon enjoys mentoring and supporting youth and other entrepreneurs along their journeys.

2015-2017 partnered with YWCA giving back to women/children in the Tampa Bay Area

2016-Current Metropolitan Ministries, establish a lifeline to selected women to enhance their image and confidence in the workforce while dealing with uncertain situations

2017-Current Founded “HOPE” Awareness community outreach program bringing awareness to the community through education & resources
